Double, Double, Toil and Beer Bubble!

Mothball 2018 is ON! Bring on the science fiction double feature! Is it Rocky Horror or Star Wars vs Star Trek? Or King Kong vs. Godzilla? Make it what you want, but we are dueling with your favorite sci-fi costumes. This year we will feature a DJ competition to see who can make you dance harder and have more fun. Will it be DJ Fernando F. or DJ Vicki Powell? Who knows….but come out and play with your neighbors on Saturday, November 17th from 8PM to 1AM and find out for yourself.

Join your neighbors at our new location at Pin & Proper, located at the Beacon at 1039 Grant Street, Atlanta, GA 30315. Buy your ticket in advance for $40 or $50 at the door the night of. This year we will have 10 tables at $400 each, which will seat 8 people, so get yours today before they sell out. The annual table centerpiece competition is ON! Who will win?

The Mothball is an historic costume party and fundraiser for the Grant Park Neighborhood Association. The proceeds go to help make Grant Park a better place for all to reside. The Mothball costume party is a tradition of fun and spirits that has lasted over 40 years.

Join your neighbors for a little friendly Eventide competition to start the Halloween festivities! Eventide is hosting a scavenger hunt to find lanterns all around Grant Park. This time we've teamed up with neighborhood establishments to guide you through the history, the beers, the food, and the friends of the place you call home. Your ticket purchase will include an arm bandanna, a souvenir cup, the course map, $5 off your Mothball 2018 ticket, and a free beer at the brewery. Part of the ticket proceeds will go directly to the GPNA. Mothball 2018 tickets will be for sale a during the day. Meet back here for live music and prizes in tandem with the Eventide Brewing Halloween Party!

The Grand Prize raffle winning team will select one representative to be seated at one end of a scale. Eventide Brewing employees will stack cases of beer on the other side until balanced. The winning team will receive one voucher per case of beer (redeemable one case per person, per day).


  • :: All entries must be tagged with #GPHH2018 and geo-tagged.
  • :: You MUST be wearing the bandana to receive beer and food specials at participating locations.
  • :: Packet pick-up is from 12pm-2pm at Eventide Brewing on Saturday, October 20th.
  • :: Scavenger hunt will start at 12pm from brewery.
  • :: All entries submitted after 6pm will not count towards the raffle.
  • :: One entry per team, per hunt point.
  • :: Any use of motorized vehicles must have a Designated Driver. Eventide Brewing highly encourages alternative modes of transportation (i.e. walking, running, biking, skateboarding, tuktuking, piggy back riding).
  • :: Each teammate must be individually registered and wearing wristband.
  • :: One Instagram handle per team. Team cannot exceed 10 people. (Pro tip: We recommend creating a new Instagram account for the hunt and allow each teammate access. It will keep all of your entries in one place.)
  • :: Winning team will designate a representative to teeter totter and win beer.
  • :: No cheating or whole team will be disqualified.
  • :: Must be present to win raffle prizes at 6:30pm at Eventide Brewing.
  • :: No refunds.
