Right Brain Ball
Ninth Annual Auction and Raffle Benefitting the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School
Author: M. Cuccaro

The Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School is holding its annual “Right Brain Ball” raffle and auction to raise money for the schools. Last year the event was moved to the large, beautiful Atrium at 200 Peachtree to accommodate the huge growth in this event over the years. On March Third the Ball returns to the Atrium and promises to be bigger, better and even more fun.

The Ball includes raffles, silent and live auctions with fantastic packages in all different price ranges: artwork, vacation homes to catered parties to gift certificates for restaurants and other local services, everyone will find something. The raffle packages value in excess of $1000 each. There’s plenty more too: the event includes dinner catered by Endive, live music by versatile cover-band The Wallbangers and will be hosted by Hollis Gillespie. You can dust off your best ball gown (or pair of blue jeans) and have a blast.

Doors open at 5:00pm and the event runs until 10:00pm.  Tickets to the Right Brain Ball are available online at http://atlncs.org/auction/buy-tickets/ (via Paypal) and at several Grant Park, Ormewood and East Atlanta retailers. Ticket price includes convenient parking connected to the Atrium. Cash bar. All proceeds go directly to the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School.

About the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School: The Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (ANCS) is a K-8 charter school with two campuses formed by the merger of two successful charter schools that have been operating in the Grant Park/Ormewood Park neighborhood during the past decade. ANCS is a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools, a national network of schools focused on creating schools that are intellectually challenging, personalized, and democratic. The Neighborhood Charter School was honored with an outstanding achievement award from the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement for the 2009-10 academic year and was recently selected to receive a major Race to the Top Innovation Fund grant.
